Merrimack is a French black metal band from Paris that was founded in 1994. The name “Merrimack” comes from a book by Graham Masterton and means “infinite depth” or “abyss”. The band is known for its dark mixture of black metal and mystical themes. Their early lyrics dealt with anti-Christianity and devil worship, while the thematic focus later shifted to Gnosticism and mysticism.
